We know why gas is $4.50/gal or $1.99/gal...it's because that's where big oil wants it to be. We also know that if there had been a way for big oil to get ownership rights to sunlight, that we would have had efficient and affordable solar power 40 years ago. In fact Bell Labs created the first silicon solar cell in 1954, 70 years ago. Where would we be with solar energy if the oil companies would have been able to market sunlight like they market oil? There would be no more gas stations. The only flammable fuels we would need would be for tools and charcoal grills.
Biden doesn't decide what gas costs.
